RULES
- Tournament Eligibility
1.1. Platform
- Participation in the tournament will be via PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, and Steam and Origin platform only.
1.2. Team Name, In-Game Names and Logo
- It is not allowed to use any discriminatory elements such as religion, language, race, nationality, gender and sexual orientation, prohibited substances, alcohol products and similar words as player names or team names.
- It is also forbidden to change the place of numbers, figures or letters, to use different letters and to use abbreviations in order to try to hide the team name or player names that are not in accordance with the rules.
1.3 Meanings of Terms
- Elimination Series (BO1): The winner of a game wins.
- Best of Three (BO3): Two out of three games are won. The winning team will advance to the next round in tournament format.
- Tournament Structure and Match Rules
2.1 Tournament Structure
- Qualifying matches will be played between November 16th and November 17th, fixtures will be announced in the future according to the number of participants.
- The matches that will be broadcast on the Esports channel will be played on November 18th to November 20th.
2.2. Not Participating in the Match
- Players must be ready for the tournament at the predetermined match time.
- The player at the top of the chart must create the lobbies.
- There’ll be a 10 minute grace period. Player(s) who exceed the 10 minute grace period to a match will be disqualified.
2.2. Game Preparations
2.2.1. Technical Problems
- Any problems that may occur must be resolved before the match starts. All participants are responsible for their own connection or hardware.
2.2.2. Communication
- All communication of the participants will be made through the DLive Discord Server. Communications and agreements made in places other than the specified Discord server will not be considered valid by the referees and tournament management.
2.2.3. Remakes
- Remakes will only be performed due to game-related issues.
- Overview
- Qualifying rounds, group stage and 3rd place matches will be played over a single match (BO1), quarter-finals, semi-finals and final matches will be played over 3 matches.(BO3)
- If the matches end in a draw, matches will go into overtime, and if the tie is not broken, penalties will go.
- In the tournament, participants can only choose National Teams, participants cannot choose club teams.
- All communications regarding the tournament will be conducted via DLive Discord Server
3.1. Match Process
- The player at the top of the chart must create the lobbies. The player who created the lobby must add his opponent and invite their opponent to the lobby.
3.2. How to Start the Match?
- From the Main Menu, press R2/RT to bring up the EA Social/Friends Menu. Once you’re in the EA Social menu, you’ll be able to access the following options: Friends. Game Invites. Friend Requests. Player Search. Recently Met.
- Search for friends with EA Account ID
- Select Friendly Matches on the right.
- Invite your opponent and start the match after your opponent arrives.
3.3. Gameplay
- After the matches are announced, matched players will add each other. When the match begins, the player at the top of the chart will send an Online Friendly Match invitation to the other player.
- At the end of the match, the player who won the match has to send the screenshot of the result screen to the created discord lobby.
- The screenshots must contain the nickname of both participants and the match result. Also, we recommend that players take screenshots of disputable situations (such as Disconnects, Game Settings problems, etc.). These screenshots can and will be used as evidence in case of a dispute.
- Game mode: Online Friendlies
- Match duration: 12 minutes (6 minutes per half)
- Controls: Any
- Game Speed: Normal
- In case of draw: Extra time and penalties if needed.
- In-Game Behavior
4.1. Sportsmanship
- All participants must behave in a sportsmanlike manner. DLive Esports Management has the right to disqualify a player whose behavior is found to be unsportsmanlike.
4.2. Insults and Harassments
- Before, during or after the match; slang, profanity and all offensive actions towards other participants are strictly prohibited. Participants who do not comply with this rule may be disqualified from the tournament by the Tournament Administration and sanctions may be imposed by DLive Esports for future events.
- Illegal Actions
5.1. Cheat
- Attempts to deceive the tournament administration or other participants using false or false statements, information, media or data will not be allowed and will result in penalties.
5.2. Fake Match Media
- Any manipulation of screenshots is prohibited and will result in penalties.
5.4. Using Cheats
- It is forbidden to use cheats in any way during the tournament. A possible cheating attempt will result in disqualification and additional penalties.
- DLive Esports Management
- DLive Esports management has the right to override the rules within the scope of sportsmanship when they deem it necessary.
- Decisions and statements of DLive Esports management are always official and all participants must follow their instructions.
6.1. Penalties
- Generally, a player is innocent unless proven guilty, but will be penalized in accordance with the decision of the refereeing committee for a clear violation of the rules. If you think a player is using cheats/bugs/scripts, you can contact us via esports@dlive.tv e-mail address within 6 hours at the latest after the match with your video evidence. Notifications not made within the specified time will be deemed invalid.
6.2. Prizes
- Tournament prizes will be sent to the DLive accounts specified during tournament registration within 60 days at the latest.
6.3. Rule Change
- The tournament management reserves the right to make changes to the tournament rules.
7.1. Most popular player
- To be enrolled in this contest, the player must play through the best-of-3 group matches
- The player must stream through their own DLive channel
- Our moderators will check the viewership for each match and take the average number for all three matches
- The player with the highest average viewers on their channel during the best-of-3 round will win
