We’re excited to be rolling out some changes to our partner program that will be able to make the DLive partner program sustainable as we grow. All members of our partner program are our primary ambassadors for DLive, and to ensure that everyone in the program can get the best possible experience as a partner, the requirements need to be updated.
All that said, we are making the new partnership program as inclusive as possible; so, we have added a new tier which is the Affiliate partnership. The main benefit of this tier is access to the subscription button, which allows for reliable income for smaller streamers, so we felt it was essential that it be available to as many DLive streamers as possible.
As we move forward, there will be both new requirements to become a partner, and will also be an added requirement to keep your partnership active over a set period. For Verified Partners and Global Partners, there will be an added average concurrent viewership requirement both to apply for and to keep your partnership.
There is also a great benefit added in this update: Customizable Offline Stream Banners will be available for both Verified Partners and Global Partners.
Here are some important dates:
- Starting from June 12th, we will stop accepting new applicants based on the existing partner program. On the same day, the new Partnership program details will be released in this page.
- On July 1st, the new partnership program will be implemented, and all applications will be re-opened. You will be able to see your stream statistics in the New Partnership Dashboard on DLive. Applications made before June 12th, 2019 will be processed before July 1st, 2019.
- The new policy for keeping partnerships active will be enforced starting on September 1st.
I love this new concept!! Smaller streamers with the ability to get Sub is a great way to keep those great streamers working for awesome content. One question is.. For those DLivers that have applied for VP or GP before June 12th. The new pre-reqs will not count towards them will it?
